1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • "Service" refers to the luxury car rental services provided by Zenride
  • "Client" or "You" refers to the individual or entity renting a vehicle from Zenride
  • "We", "Us", or "Zenride" refers to our company operating in Singapore
  • "Vehicle" refers to any motor vehicle provided under a rental agreement
  • "Rental Period" refers to the agreed duration from vehicle delivery to collection
  • "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with the specific rental booking

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking our services, accessing our website, or using our vehicles, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
  • You are at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • All information provided during booking is accurate and complete

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

3. Service Description

Zenride provides luxury car rental services in Singapore, offering three primary solutions:

  • Stillness Sedan: Short-term luxury sedan rentals with mindfulness amenities
  • Flow State Convertible: Premium convertible experiences with wellness integration
  • Harmony Residence Fleet: Extended-stay vehicle assignments with personal mobility assistance

All services include comprehensive insurance coverage, fuel credit, and curated amenities as specified in each package description. Service availability is subject to vehicle availability and booking confirmation.

4. Booking and Reservation

4.1 Booking Process

To book a vehicle, you must:

  • Provide accurate personal and contact information
  • Submit valid driver's license details
  • Specify rental dates, times, and delivery locations
  • Accept these Terms and Conditions

4.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Zenride via email. Verbal or preliminary discussions do not constitute a confirmed booking.

4.3 Advance Booking Requirements

We recommend the following advance booking periods:

  • Stillness Sedan: 3-5 days in advance
  • Flow State Convertible: 5-7 days in advance
  • Harmony Residence Fleet: 10-14 days in advance

Last-minute bookings may be accommodated subject to availability.

5. Driver Requirements

5.1 Eligibility

To rent a vehicle, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years
  • Hold a Singapore driver's license or valid International Driving Permit
  • Provide government-issued identification
  • Meet our insurance provider's requirements

5.2 Additional Drivers

Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement if they meet all eligibility requirements. All drivers must be registered before operating the vehicle. Additional driver fees may apply.

6. Rental Rates and Payment

6.1 Pricing

Rental rates are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include:

  • Vehicle rental for the specified period
  • Comprehensive insurance coverage
  • Full fuel credit
  • All curated amenities as specified in the package
  • Delivery and collection within Singapore
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST)

6.2 Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of booking confirmation. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. Payment must be received before vehicle delivery.

6.3 Extensions

Rental extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled return time. Extensions are charged at the same daily rate as the original booking.

6.4 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Excess mileage beyond agreed limits (if applicable)
  • Vehicle damage not covered by insurance
  • Traffic violations or parking fines incurred during rental
  • Late return without prior authorization
  • Excessive cleaning required due to vehicle condition

7. Cancellation and Modifications

7.1 Client Cancellations

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • 7+ days before rental start: Full refund
  • 3-6 days before rental start: 50% refund
  • Less than 72 hours before rental start: No refund

7.2 Modifications

Booking modifications (dates, times, locations) are subject to availability. Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance when possible. Rate adjustments may apply based on new dates.

7.3 Zenride Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative vehicle of comparable quality.

8. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

8.1 Permitted Use

You agree to:

  • Operate the vehicle safely and in accordance with Singapore traffic laws
  • Maintain the vehicle in good condition during the rental period
  • Use the vehicle only for personal transportation purposes
  • Keep the vehicle locked and secured when not in use
  • Report any accidents or damage immediately

8.2 Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Allow anyone other than registered drivers to operate the vehicle
  • Use the vehicle for commercial purposes, racing, or towing
  • Drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Transport illegal substances or engage in illegal activities
  • Smoke in the vehicle
  • Exceed the vehicle's passenger or weight capacity
  • Take the vehicle outside Singapore without prior written consent
  • Sublet or lend the vehicle to others

8.3 Maintenance During Rental

You are responsible for checking and maintaining appropriate fluid levels (oil, coolant) during extended rentals. For rentals exceeding 7 days, we provide complimentary mid-stay service. Report any mechanical issues immediately.

9. Insurance and Liability

9.1 Insurance Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance covering:

  • Third-party liability as required by Singapore law
  • Vehicle damage (subject to excess/deductible)
  • Personal accident coverage for registered drivers

9.2 Client Liability

You are liable for:

  • The insurance excess/deductible amount in case of damage
  • Damage resulting from prohibited activities or driver negligence
  • Loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle
  • Traffic violations, parking fines, and toll charges

9.3 Accident Procedure

In case of accident or damage:

  • Ensure safety of all parties and call emergency services if needed
  • Contact Zenride immediately at +65 6742 8359
  • Do not admit fault or make statements to other parties
  • Obtain contact and insurance information from other parties
  • File a police report if required by Singapore law
  • Complete our incident report form within 24 hours

10. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

10.1 Delivery Inspection

Upon vehicle delivery, you must inspect the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage or issues immediately. By accepting the vehicle, you acknowledge that it is in satisfactory condition unless otherwise noted.

10.2 Return Condition

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as delivered (normal wear and tear excepted), with the same fuel level, clean interior, and free of personal items. Excessive cleaning or refueling fees may apply.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Zenride and protected by Singapore intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law:

  • Zenride is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid for the affected booking
  • We are not responsible for personal items lost or damaged in the vehicle
  • We do not guarantee specific vehicle models or features beyond those confirmed in writing
  • We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

13. Force Majeure

Zenride is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, pandemics, or vehicle mechanical failures. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternatives or refunds.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). By using our services, you consent to such processing.

15. Termination

We may terminate a rental agreement immediately if:

  • You violate any terms of this agreement
  • The vehicle is used for illegal purposes
  • Payment obligations are not met
  • False information was provided during booking

Upon termination, you must return the vehicle immediately. No refund will be provided for terminated agreements due to client breach.

16. Dispute Resolution

16.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

16.2 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal dispute resolution, parties agree to attempt good faith negotiation to resolve any disputes.

16.3 Jurisdiction

Any legal proceedings arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

17. General Provisions

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with the specific rental booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zenride.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity.

17.5 Notices

All notices must be in writing and sent to the contact details provided in Section 18. Notices are deemed received when delivered by email or 3 business days after mailing.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Changes become effective upon posting to our website with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of our services after changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify clients of material changes via email when possible.
